The session will include two deconstructions of two records that catapulted Pesolife last year. The session will convey elements of sound design, vocal production, music production, elements of mixing and how to work through limitations during unprecedented times. Attendees will have access to an Ableton Vocal Rack to experiment with.
Producer/singer/songwriter Secaina from North West London started out with secretive bedroom based Fruity Loops sessions, honing her sound before signing to Capitol Records in 2016. As of 2021 Secaina has worked with digital audio workstation company Ableton curating workshops and demonstrations as part of their educational tours to university students and featured on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1 with co-owned Art Collective Pesolife.
