About the role
The postholder will act as a named point of contact for disabled students and, in liaison with relevant staff in the wider Registry department, co-ordinate support for students in order to mitigate barriers to their education. This includes developing individual learning support plans that involve making reasonable adjustments to their learning experience. In order to do this, the postholder will have good knowledge of different neurodiverse conditions and their related needs, and understand how to read and interpret the relating medical documentation. This post will suit an empathetic person who prides themselves on delivering high quality, individualised support to disabled students and students with chronic illnesses and long-term impairments.
