About the role
We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator who has a passion for music and education and is driven by student recruitment and supporting students, alumni, and the pointblank brand across the education sector and music industry.
Using the School’s wealth of in-house content, you’ll be required to conceive and write original, engaging editorial across platforms including the pointblank blog, third-party (partner) sites, and pointblank’s external-facing website, with a particular focus on advertising our higher education programmes. With an exceptional writing style and in keeping with the School’s tone-of-voice and style guide, you will be required to adapt material across social media channels and other third-party platforms, informing our audiences of all successes, activities, and news from pointblank.
The Social Media Coordinator’s responsibilities span editorial, design, copywriting, and reach to help evolve pointblank’s story, with a focus on student recruitment across all courses, particularly higher education provision. Creating opportunities to showcase the school’s activities and successes while supporting global brand partnerships across the music industry is a key aspect of this role.
Working closely alongside the Social Media Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for content planning, internal communications, and long-form content such as blogs. This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and creative individual with a passion for music, education, and digital storytelling.
